MICHAŁ SZPAK

Michał Szpak is a very expressive artist whose work cannot be confined within certain limits. He is one of the most talented Polish vocalists. I felt that this time he deserved a proper portrait. As for the drawing itself, I worked on it for quite a long time, about a month. The work was created in May this year. I wanted to draw a very natural portrait that fully reflects not only his appearance but also his spontaneous character and way of being. For this purpose, I was looking for a suitable photo. I spent most of my time drawing hair and, of course, eyes, which are the most important thing for me in a portrait. I wanted it to be as realistic as possible. I think I managed to achieve my goal. I am very pleased with the end result. I think this is one of my best portraits.
